Poulin Independent Publishers Project
The NYSCA Al Poulin Jr. Independent Publishers Project offers the work of contemporary writers and poets by New York based non-profit publishers to schools, libraries, correctional facilities, community and alternative reading centers within the State. These predetermined sets of 30 or more titles create a diversified collection of contemporary literature for libraries, bringing the voices of contemporary authors to a wider audience. Most publications are for high-school and adult readers, but some are also suitable for a younger audience.
